Travel Photo Challenge is a fun activity wherein I shall post one travel photograph of mine, for 10 days, without any captions or explanations therein. Of course, if one is interested to know more, I shall try to give a brief about the same in the comments (upon request), and I shall post a detailed blog post on those at a later point in time.
Without further ado, here is the photo of the day as a part of this ongoing challenge. Hope you find it good.
I did say previously that the journey can be as good as the destination. However, that cannot rule out the destination altogether. We focused on the journey in a previous post of mine, under this series. Will the picture below entice you to focus on the destination as well?

Always welcome

Gosh… I have been to Gothland, Oslo and quite a bit of Denmark. Jutland, funen and Copenhagen. It reminded me quite a bit of Denmark. But I am prob wrong.

WOW. It’s the building on the left, the side of the building. I’ve seen them like that there. Jutland was a bit less traditional but we did go to this amazing place, an open air museum of streets and houses where they had preserved so much and that building reminded me of those. Funen on the other hand was like a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale.

Wow..!! That’s a whole new level of experience.. ☺️☺️ Lovely.. ❤
I am sure you found yourself transported to the era of Hans Christian Anderson.. 😀 Amazing.. 🙂
Speaking of him, did you see the statue of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen? How did you like it??
Great to know about your experiences.. xx

Yes. I was in Copenhagen once ….it was not long after I was arrested in Leningrad.. I have said as much to you. You can see my experiences were many and mixed. I do indeed have a pic of the mermaid. I came back to Denmark many times many years later and stayed off the grid. The way I best like to see places.

Of course.. Staying off the grid, either by force or by choice, gives a greater impetus to visiting places which are actually off the (tourist) grid.. 🙂
